Blue Shades

Uranus, Neptune, your blues are so serene I always forget how stormy you truly are.

From space, Earth looks like a glum rock with its streaks of cloud and caps of ice.

Yellow lights illuminate the blue hour, flowers sway softly in the cold breeze.

Phones and TVs reflect blue light onto sad eyes, so ghostly, noise on the electronic surfaces.

The tides are retreating to make room for night, a silence splashes onto the beaches.

Goodbye, it seems to sing, as a pair of eyes closes for the last time.
